Novel tests can be tricky. It is best to start with reading summaries of the book, and if you are doing S.T.E.A.L. look over the sticky notes you wrote because some form of character analyzation will probably be on the test. Making a timeline of important events is also a good idea. For example, a timeline for Goldie Locks and the three bears would look like this:
Goldie Locks goes into the bears house
Goldie Locks eats the portage
Goldie Locks sits and breaks the chair
Goldie Locks falls asleep
Goldie Locks escapes the Bear’s house
Studying the vocab is also a good idea. Quizlet is a good site to use for memorizing vocab, but flashcards are also a good option. Teachers will probably give out a study guide to so remember to review that too!
